Full product details

The mastering app built specifically for DJs. Bring the tracks in your set toward a more consistent target level and spend less time riding the gain between songs. Drop your folder, pick a preset, and master up to 50 tracks in a batch. SmartMaster PRO uses LUFS normalization based on ITU-R BS.1770-4 to help your library sound more consistent and translate across a range of playback systems. Batch process audio files with drag and drop, automatic BPM detection, and intelligent soft limiting. Four venue presets: Events (-12 LUFS), Radio (-14 LUFS), Club (-10 LUFS), and Festival (-8 LUFS). Use the 12-band parametric equalizer with real-time preview, MID/SIDE enhancement, WAV or M4A export, stereo vectorscope, before/after comparison, and detailed metrics. Built for a fast, practical DJ workflow.

The story behind the app

Given that, through Mambo Player, I listen to music, and with PAI Tag-Editor I take care of the tagging part of the tracks, I felt the need to create an application that would make all songs sound like they're "from the same movie". More precisely: the same sound, the same volume level, the same compression and the same limiting.

Not because I would want to destroy what a track offers from an artistic point of view, but because I want all my music to sound good, coherent and balanced. There were tracks that needed a boost — and then I would master them — and others that didn't need any intervention.

Thus, I designed Smart Master Pro for this purpose: use measured processing to bring a varied library toward a more coherent and balanced listening level, while letting the DJ review every result. ⚡
