About
Software Evolution is not a company. It’s one man’s desk.

My name is Sorin Nae. I’m 40 years old and I’ve been a DJ for 25 — from the village disco where I grew up, to stages with ten thousand people. When the pandemic stopped the music, I had a family to support and a profession that no longer existed.
So I sat down at my desk and started from zero: I learned to build software together with artificial intelligence — first with ChatGPT, then with Claude. I didn’t know how to code. I wrote my first app by asking, failing, and starting over (Mambo Player). Today, six years later, there are more than twenty apps for Mac and iPhone — almost all for DJs and music, the world I know from the inside. Among them, my own AI model, Sorinel Stems, trained right here at my desk — and the latest app, the one that carries my name: AlyDeejay, where everything I’ve learned about DJing lives.
I built them for myself first — I sell them for my family.
The principles are non-negotiable: everything runs locally, on your device. No subscriptions, no accounts, no data sent anywhere. Pay once, and it’s yours. I hope these apps help you as much as they help me organize, play and listen to my music.
I’m a person, not a corporation. If you write to me, I’m the one who answers.
