Mambo Player was born when I switched from Windows to Mac after 17 years of using Windows. Once I arrived on Mac, I realized I didn't have a player like Winamp. Winamp was extremely useful to me and helped me, throughout all those years, to select my music very easily, especially since I'm a DJ.
The need to continue selecting my music efficiently, combined with the lack of a suitable tool on Mac, led me to create Mambo Player. This became, in fact, the first application I made and the most important one in my life. 💙
Why? Because I wanted to take it to a very professional level, adding features like BPM analysis and key (tonality) analysis, things that Winamp didn't have, but which would have helped me enormously in the music selection process. This way, I can sort tracks by BPM, quickly access them, and delete them fast, depending on my needs. ⚡
