MusicToList

Privacy Policy

MusicToList does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app operates entirely on the user's device and does not connect to any external servers. All data processing, including file scanning, list creation, and text editing, is performed locally. No user data is ever shared with third parties.

License and Copyright

This software, MusicToList, is the exclusive property of Sorin Nae. All rights to the codebase, design, and all associated intellectual property are reserved.

This software is protected under Romanian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited and will result in legal action.

Use of Apple Technologies

MusicToList utilizes Apple technologies including:

SwiftUI, AVFoundation, UniformTypeIdentifiers, Combine, and Accelerate.

These frameworks are proprietary to Apple and are used in accordance with the Apple Developer Program License Agreement. All rights to these technologies remain with Apple Inc.

MusicToList is distributed under a proprietary license.

No part of this software, including its source code, design, or assets, may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted without prior written permission from Sorin Nae.
The software is available exclusively through the Mac App Store.
Unauthorized copying, modification, or redistribution is strictly prohibited and will lead to legal action.

Limitation of Liability

Sorin Nae shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, productivity, or any other commercial losses. Users are responsible for ensuring compatibility with their systems and maintaining backups of their data.

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.

No Warranty

This software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Sorin Nae does not guarantee that the software will operate error-free on all devices or systems, or that it will meet all user requirements.

End User License Agreement (EULA)

By downloading and using MusicToList, you agree to the terms of this proprietary license:

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use this software for personal purposes only.
Redistribution, modification, reverse engineering, or disassembly of this software is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Sorin Nae.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of any data processed through the application.

Data Processing

MusicToList processes audio files and CSV files to create organized lists. All processing occurs locally on your device. The application:

Reads file names and metadata from audio files (MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, AIFF, FLAC)
Parses CSV and TXT files for song list creation
Stores user preferences (theme, compact mode) locally using UserDefaults
Does not transmit any data outside your device
Does not require internet connection to function
